INNISFREE – IT’s Real Squeeze Masks

Hello my dears,

As we all grow older, we tend to try to take care of our health and skincare better. For me, once i hit 30, it really hit me that i needed to take very good care of my skin and my health. Which is also a reason why i have created this blog so that I can record my skin care journey and also to share with other people as well.

For the past 3 days i have been religiously working on my sheet masks routines. Whenever i go for facials, the therapist would always ask me when did i do my last mask and i am always too embarrass to say “er.. last month?” I have extreme hydrated skin in a way the skin gets dark and loses its glow and whenever i do facials my skin feels like it is so thirsty trying to absorb all the water. I am trying to save myself now by starting slow…. I had 3 sheet masks in front of me from INNISFREE, i could say those are my very IN mask now. I purchased them when innisfreeworld had a buy 10 get 10 free discount.

I had 20 sheets mask to choose from but i decided to go for these 3 first as i normally really love rice mask as it brightens the skin and the honey and shea butter ones seems very hydrating and would smell really good.

I started using the rice mask first and this was what was written behind the mask, “rice extract to keep the skin purified and healthy” hmmm.. wow.

Ingredients include some of the ones below:

  • Water
  • Glycerin
  • Butylene Glycol
  • Cetyl Ethylhexanoate
  • Japonica leaf extract
  • Sodium hyaluronate

The fragrance was very slight and a little bit of flowery scent to the mask. it was pretty much soaking with the moisture when it was pulled out.

The mask is also relatively thick with lots of good substance. Left the mask on for about 10 mins and after removing could feel my face brighten and much clearer. It even became a bit whiter as well.

The next day i went on to try the manuka honey mask. the scent was a bit stronger than rice mask. The mask is suppose to moisturize dry, stiffened skin. -> MINE!

Ingredients include:

  • Water
  • Glycerin
  • Butylene Glycol
  • Alcohol
  • Betaine
  • Orchid Extract
  • Fragrance

I left this mask also for about 10mins, the most distinct difference i felt with the 2 masks was the texture. i am not sure why but the honey mask was alot thinner then the rice mask. the solution inside the mask had a high viscosity as compared to the rice mask.

As you can see the mask difference is quite obvious, the left one is the honey mask and the right one is the rice mask.

After using the honey mask for about 10mins and removing it I felt moisturized but the effects were not very distinct. My face felt like it was hydrated for once but after applying lifting the mask up and leaving my face for another 10mins before carrying on with my routine, my face was already dried (Face too thirsty). It would be very good as a everyday mask for hydration purposes.

The last mask i tried in my 3 day trial is the shea butter mask which is suppose to deliver incredible moisturizing capacity of shea butter to deliver moisture deep inside the dry, tight skin (WOW! that is something i absolutely needed).

Ingredients include some of the below:

  • Water
  • Glycerin
  • Butylene Glycol
  • Citrus unshiu peel extract

This mask worked wonders for me, the texture was the same as the rice mask a bit thicker and the smell was very distinct. Smell alot like the shea butter used to apply the skin.

I soaked the mask on my face for a good 10mins and when i removed it there was still alot of liquid on the face and it felt very good! Extremely hydrated. My face was still feeling very damp after a long while. it might be a bit too oily if you have oily based skin but mine was so dehydrated it literally just drank from it.

In conclusion, i really love the 3 masks from Innisfree and i will be trying more 3-day trial of sheetmask and hope that my skin will get better and better.

Rice mask: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Manuka honey: ❤️❤️❤️

Shea Butter: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I cant wait to get my hands on more masks and try them as well. Till then.. Cya soon!

Love and xoxo,
