Hello lovelies,

Welcome to Saturday again 🙂 Hope everyone is feeling great because of the weekend and have piles of things to do. This weekend I would be busy shopping for electronic equipment for my new house. Renovation begins at the end of April 2017, after the so called Qi Ming. Will be updating my blog on the process. 🙂

First of all, I would like to share today’s quote with everyone.

Image result for quotes on blogging

There is definitely no right or wrong in writing, especially for us bloggers who write our personal feelings and thoughts into the blog. Sometimes, I do not know what to blog about but my blog is a reminder of the desire to share my experience and to connect with bloggers with the same interest and to inspire others just the way some of the skincare and makeup bloggers have inspired me.

Today’s post talks about the 2nd box I received from the Pinkseoul. The second box is the November and December 2016 box ( I am so sorry for the delay, I am trying to catch up with all the work and the new blog). Please do check out the link below for the 1st box that I received from Pinkseoul as well as how the subscription box works: Pink Seoul Subscription Box – Sept / Oct 2016 Box

pink-seoul_nov-2016-box_1

Directions are to wash your hand and wet your face before dispensing powder on to your hand. Massage over the skin focusing on areas with clogged pores.

pink-seoul_nov-2016-box_4

Next is the Calmia Oatmeal Peeling Gel. Directions were to after cleansing and drying face, apply evenly over the face and massage face for 30s to roll off dead skin cells and then rinse well with water.

pink-seoul_nov-2016-box_5

Then, they have the Camellia Oil from Tosowoong which can be used as a facial oil for keeping the skin soft and moist. Interesting to try to it. Directions: You can used directly on the skin or mix with foundation/moisturizer/mask

Hello dears,

Hope everyone is doing okay. Happy Easter! I have catch up a little bit on my Japan crate subscription box, today I would be introducing another Subscription box.

Before we start, I have a quote here to hope brighten up your day and help with understanding of Success!Image result for oprah winfrey quotes

Today’s post is about one of the first few subscription boxes I ever subscribed to. The post is a little late because I have been so caught up at work and starting my blog that it took me a while to really get to taking pictures and writing the blog. Procrastination I guess. No excuse for me now.

pink-seoul_october-2016

Pink Seoul Box Oct 2016

This is Pink Seoul’s box and this is the September / October 2016 box. Pink Seoul is a box curated with amazing Kbeauty products that originate from the United States. You can find them on their friendly website, Pink Seoul. They have a few different subscriptions that you can go for.

How it works?

First, you pick the box that best suits you. There are 3 different kinds of boxes:
  1. Pink Seoul Box – the normal subscription box that is worth USD$39.95 but worth over $60 with at least 4 full sized products and one accessory item. (I got this in the end)
  2. Pink Seoul PLUS box – the worth of the box is over $80.00 but this box is recommended for people age 35 and above probably adding a lot anti-aging products to it 🙂
  3. Mask Box – I was tempted to get this box too because I love mask. About 10 different mask products and one accessory item for USD$29.95

In each box option, there is also a customized option for:

  1. Skin Type
    1. Normal
    2. Combination
    3. Oily
    4. Dry
    5. Sensitive
  2. Skin Colour
    1. Light
    2. Medium
    3. Dark
  3. I am focused on:
    1. Having fun and experimenting on KBeauty
    2. Acne
    3. Preventing Wrinkles
    4. Pigmentation
    5. Pores

Which is great about this box because it is so customizable, so you if you have oily skin you get something from the oily skin range.

Besides having subscription boxes, they also have Specialty Boxes that are one time off boxes that you can purchase like the “Omakase Box” which is a 7 pack mask for a one time off. You can also purchase off the shelve the products as well.
Due to the fact that the box comes from the US, I might be one of the last ones that receive the box because of the shipment. 😦 But its alright, I still receive it in the end.
When did i start?
I started ordering Pinkseoul from September of last year.
How did I get to know?
I was surfing for make up and skincare products and chanced upon subscription boxes and this being one of the few top subscription boxes.
What did I purchase?
I got the Kbeauty Subscription box, although i was also tempted to get the Mask box as well, but I shall save up first. I picked the options of: Dry Skin, Skin color as Medium and I am focus on “experimenting on beauty products”
Price?
USD $55.90
How long it took it reach?
About one month
What did my first box contain?
We shall come to the interesting part of the post, which would be the products that came with the box.
pink-seoul_october-2016_1
The box came with a piece of paper inside that stated exactly what were the contains inside the box and exactly how to use them.
pink-seoul_october-2016_2
Underneath the slip of paper was a red paper that nicely wrapped up the gift sent to me.
pink-seoul_october-2016_3
Opening up the paper, were these gifts. The worth I would say was definitely more than the price I had paid for.
These are the products:
  • Lindsay Natural Mask Pack
  • Accessory Item – Lindsay Mask Brush
  • The Face Shop Real Nature Sheet Mask (Lotus)
  • Manyo Factory Ultra Moist Rebirth Ampoule
  • N.M.F. Midnight Capping Pack
  • Secret Key’s Starting Treatment Essence
  • Samples of: Banana Hand Milk and The Face Shop Chia Seed

Pink Seoul_October 2016_6

The products are generally very exciting and I cannot wait to try them. I am very excited to try the Secret Key essence as I have been using the Missha Time Revolution FTE for awhile already.

I will be doing individual blog posts as and when I try the products in the box!

Conclusion:

Website: ❤️❤️❤️❤️– user friendly

Packaging: ❤️❤️❤️ – pretty box with nice wrapping

Range of Products: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Value of Products: ❤️❤️❤️

Quality of products received: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ – excited to use the Secret Key Treatment Essence

Time took to receive box: ❤️❤️❤️

Price: ❤️❤️❤️– It was good for the amount of goodies received and free shipping

Continue with the subscription: ❤️❤️❤️❤️/ 5 stars – Yes

Thank you all for reading!

Love and xoxo,

Ting Ting

Hi dears,

How are you? Today’s post is a second edition of my previous mask haul from Thank You Farmer. But first, a quote about skincare.

Image result for quotes about skin care

Thank you farmer series has 2 masks and I previously posted about the Miracle Age (Repair) Mask which was so awesome. Check out the product via this link: Thank You Farmer Mask – Miracle Age (Repair). Today I will be posting the True Water (Deep) Mask.

20170304_210424

Where did I purchase it:

Both masks were from Lazada.sg

Price:

Sold for SGD $24.00 for 5 pieces which was a bit to the expensive side

First Impression of Packaging:

The True Water Mask is in a sweet Baby bluish green colour. The Pink one had strips but the blue one had little droplets as the packaging.

20170304_210305

Claim:

“A deep hydrating sheet mask filled with full of moist essence that gives moisture intensively into your skin for the special day when you want to look more beautiful” (Taken from the description at the back of the mask)

20170304_210319

Smell: There is a very slight smell of leaves/roots which I could not distinguish the smell until I looked at the ingredients which had a lot of “root/leaf extracts”

Texture: Mask was quite thick, made of cotton and filled with lots of serum in the pouch

20170304_220556

Fit: The fit was perfect for my face even my nose area which is great! but maybe more suitable for those with a smaller face. I was sitting up reading the whole time and it did not fall.

20170304_221342

Conclusion:

Left it on for about 15mins and there was no irritation or redness and my skin was supple and smooth with brightening effect as well.

Functionality: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ –Very hydrating and brightening

Fit: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Price: ❤️❤️ – on the expensive side

Overall: ❤️❤️❤️❤️/5 hearts

Repurchase: YEP!

Thank you all for reading!

Love and xoxo,

Ting Ting

Hi my lovelies,

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for reading my post.

Before we start on the review of the January 2017 Subscription box, I would as usual post a quote that I like to motivate myself on.

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you” This is so true. If we are comfortable being where we are and what we are doing, we would never be successful and would never change. To become successful we would need to challenge and grow.

Morning to all my dearies,

Hope you are all doing great on a Saturday morning.

Here is a quote from Brian Tracy to start this blog post: “All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.” We would need to first start with a dream and a burning desire to succeed before we can really make it big and become successful. Have a dream and go for it!

This is the third subscription box from Japancrate that I have subscribed. If you would like to check out the first subscription box and second please do check out these link, the first subscription box has the details on how to subscribe to this snack box:
  1. Japan Crate Subscription Box (October 2016) and
  2. Japan Crate Subscription Box – November 2016
20170223_123422
 20170223_123433
Volume 18 is the December edition of the Japan Crate and these are some of the products included in this month’s box:
  • Sakuranbo No Uta
  • Umai Wa Vegetable Salad Flavor (One of my favorites!)
  • Animal Lesson Choco
  • Yakimo Yokan
  • Harvest Biscuit Matcha Flavor
  • Tsundermon Gum
  • Morokoshi Wa Ta Ro
  • Grapefruit & Orange Nodo Ame
  • Anpanman Pero Pero Chocolate
  • Magic Slime DIY (DIY kit for this month)

Below are the details of the different products this month:

Sakauranbo No Uta

These are cherry drops with a unique smooth cherry taste with a small hint of creamy goodness reminiscent of a holiday cherry pie with a dollop of whipped cream!

20170223_123522

Umai Wa Vegetable Salad Flavor

This flavor is a tasty garden salad with plenty of dressing. I love all of the flavors from this brand!

20170223_123439

Animal Lesson Choco

Cute and soft biscuits with a melty chocolatey center that goes great with milk

20170223_123528

Yakimo Yokan

This is popular treat in the Japanese wintertime, this is a roasted sweet potato flavored gelatin dessert. I love eating sweet potatoes in Japan especially during the winter when it is baked to perfection and you do not need any butter or sugar for it. The creamy taste is just superb!

20170223_123539

Harvest Biscuit Matcha Flavor

The crate has eight packs of four cookies separately packed. This is pretty much like the green tea kit-kats. Great with a hot cup of tea or coffee!

20170223_123456

Tsundermon Gum

This term refers to someone who starts off cold and hostile but slowly warms up over time. This super tart lemon gum is sour when you first chew it but it gets more sweet when you chew more.

20170223_123516

Morokoshi Wa Ta Ro

This treat is lightly salted and have a soft crunch.

20170223_123501

Grapefruit & Orange Nodo Ame

This candy is a dose of Vitamin C per ball and you can feel good enjoying these hard candies made from Grapefruit and Orange.

20170223_123445

Anpanman Pero Pero Chocolate

This lollipop is so cute I really don’t bear to eat it. Great for dipping into a cup of hot chocolate on a cold and rainy day!

20170223_123533

Magic Slime Dry

“During a science-experiment gone wrong, a curious elf created this mystery goo instead of a snowman!” – this is what is suppose to be in my box but I think I got the mochi red bean and matcha instead which I think I like it better. [edit: My Jan 2017 box has this Magic Slime, so I think the brochure is printed wrongly]

20170223_123511

Conclusion for Japancrate Dec 2016 Box:

Quality of products received: ❤️❤️❤️❤️
