Today I would like to do a review on one of my favorite creams. I have seen reviews online about this cream so i took a dare to buy it and try and i loved it!
J.one is created by one of South Korean Top actress Ha Ji Won and it has a few other products along with this one, the Jelly pack, the mask and the newest J.one Jelly cream are some of those that i would like to try. I have pretty dry skin and I use it every night before I sleep and my skin feels hydrated after that.
The Hana cream is suppose to keep the face “hydrated, moist, firm and elastic” all seems really good to me. Tried the product for a month and almost using up the 40g bottle and i must say i am impressed. But first let me describe the product:
“Water, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Shea Butter, Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Anemarrhena Asphodeloides Root Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Beta-Glucan, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Agar, Panthenol, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Pentylene Glycol, Betaine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Hydrogenated Poly (C6-14 Olefin), Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Sodium Polyacrylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Salicylic Acid, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Dimethiconol, Potassium Hydroxide, PVP, Dimethicone, Sorbitan Laurate, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Cyclomethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydroxyethyl Ethyl Cellulose, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, Beta-Sitosterol, Cholesterol, Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Linolenate, Glyceryl Linoleate, Glyceryl Arachidonate, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Ubiquinone, Caprylyl Glycol, Ceteth-24, Choleth-24, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Thioctic Acid, Brassica Campestris (Rapeseed) Sterols, PEG-5 Rapeseed Sterol, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Riboflavin, Ceteth-3, Ceteth-5, Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Ceramide 3, Phytosphingosine, Fullerenes, Biotin, Tocopherol, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance”
Description of Bottle and contents:
The box is a sleek black color with white wordings and the container is a frosted white bottle and they have a transparent spoon as well. Once open there is a smell of powder and a light scent. The most interesting part is that the cream comes in spherical shaped balls that look like salmon roe (FYI: I love salmon roe!).
Each of this spherical shaped “roe” contain just enough for one time application and i think it is a great idea because many times we do not know how much to apply and this is a great idea.
I have seen a similar product by Faceshop. Faceshop’s White Ginseng Pearl Capsule Cream but their contents seem to be a bit more watery as compared to the Hana cream. This cream is very dry and every ball is separated from one another.
After cleansing and toning, to break a ball between your fingertips and pat it lightly then apply it to the face.
For me, I try to rub it between my palms a bit to make it slightly warm before i pat it into the face.
Putting the little ball in between both my fingertips and squash it to get a high-viscosity cream.
Texture on Face:
After patting in the cream, it might feel a little greasy and especially in Singapore’s climate it might feel a bit uncomfortable. There is a little shine to it as well. Not really recommended for people who feel do not like the light greasy feeling or people with oily skin. For me I was okie with it and I had a drier skin so the cream got on really well and stayed until the next morning my skin was very hydrated.
Design: – super sleek but a bit big if you are bringing it overseas
Easy to use: – very interesting
Functionality: – Super hydrating
Price: – A little on the expensive side
Repurchase: Definitely a YES for me!
Overall: /5 hearts
Thank you all for reading!
