Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is having a good day. Feel like starting my blog with a quote, “To be successful, the first thing to do is to fall in love with your work.” Most of the time we do not like our work but we are given no choice because we have to earn the money. But once we choose to love our work, we gradually have the passion to work for it and thus getting good at it.
The last time I did a blog post on the Faceshop CC Intense Cover Cushion – Kakao Friends (MUZI). I was quite hooked on the faceshop limited edition characters that I also bought the Faceshop CC Cooling cushion in the Winnie the Pooh design.
How could you be able to say no to this so pretty design? I love pretty stuff so that explains why I cannot resist this kind of so pretty stuff.
The box looks like it is made of recycled materials. I picked the color 203 because I am slightly darker and the cushion also has its SPF42 PA+++ (great!)
Product Description:
These are the other angles of the box. The description on the box says:
CC Cooling Cushion infuses dry skin with moisture.
(Reduces wrinkles, brightens and protects against UV Rays)
- Refreshing cushion makeup with the texture of moisturising cream and hydrating ingredients.
- Contains Birch Sap and Flower water for a refreshing sensation
- Snow Oil melts on skin and creates a cooling sensation
Direction:
Press the puff applicator onto the cushion and lightly pat onto your face. Reapply to areas of concern for more coverage. Replace the cushion with a refill once the formula has been used up.
Opening up the box, Mr Winnie the Pooh stares back with his bright yellow head and the cushion is in red (my favorite color). I love how the face of Pooh has that 3D effect to it.
After opening the cover of the cushion, the applicator is a white based with light yellow sketches of Winnie the pooh which i thought was so cute.
As usual when you open up the cushion, there is a seal covering the cushion. Be sure the seal is not broken as this is suppose to keep the cushion from drying up. The applicator feels like a silicone material which is the usual for most cushions.
My hands usually are not that white but after applying the coverage was not too bad. I have been applying this cushion for at least 3 weeks now and it has not given me very significant issues.
My review:
The application on the face felt a little cooling when you first applied, I thought it was the weather but it is probably due to the cooling ingredients that are in the cushion. The coverage was a little bit meh.. It could cover some of the redness but I have very significantly green veins on my face that I had to use another 3 more applications to be able to cover it up.
I wear the cushion to work and by the time I end work at 6pm the formulation has already gone into the skin and it has become a bit patchy that I need to touch up with I am going for a night out.
Conclusion:
Design: – super cute
Coverage: – need to reapply a few times to cover up
Lasting: – need to re touch make up
Functionality:
Price: – A little on the expensive side
Repurchase: – I might if it was on a discount but there are many better cushions out there 😛
Thank you all for reading!
Love and xoxo,
Ting Ting
